Table Thai Massage on St. Simons Island
Table Thai here is Thai-style stretching and rhythmic work done on the massage table, not on a floor mat. You remain supported and draped as needed. The session uses movement and stretch more than deep kneading. Tell your therapist about joints, surgeries, or stretches you do not want.
Who this is for
-
You like stretching as part of the session
-
You want movement more than deep pressure
-
You prefer the table rather than mat work on the floor
What to expect
Book the Table Thai service. Wear or bring clothes you can move in if your therapist asks you to stay dressed; otherwise wear something easy to change out of. You may be asked to participate in a few stretches. Pressure and range stay within what feels comfortable.
FAQ
How is this different from Swedish?
Swedish uses long, flowing strokes. Table Thai adds stretching and rhythm on the table, so you will be moved more than in a Swedish session.
Do I lie on a mat on the floor?
No. This is done on the massage table.
What should I wear?
The same as your other appointments here. Mention a sensitive neck or low back when you book so those stretches can be left out.
