Lymphatic Drainage on St. Simons Island

Lymphatic drainage here is a light, rhythmic session. The pressure stays much gentler than Swedish or deep tissue. The aim is comfort and ease—not force. Book the lymphatic service so your therapist knows the session you want. This does not treat disease and does not replace care from your physician.

Who this is for

  • You feel puffy after travel or a long week

  • Deep pressure is more than you want today

  • Your provider has suggested gentle lymphatic work and you have told us that

What to expect

The work is slow and light, often beginning toward the neck and then the limbs. You should not feel digging or deep kneading. Wear something easy to change out of. Drink water afterward. Mention surgery, illness, or swelling that is new or one-sided when you book.

FAQ

Is this the same as a regular massage?

No. Swedish and deep tissue work the muscles. Lymphatic drainage uses very light, rhythmic strokes.

Will it feel like deep tissue?

No. If you want pressure, book Swedish or deep tissue instead.

Should I book this if I am ill or have a new swelling?

Wait and ask your provider. Tell us what they have advised when you book.
