Myofascial Release and Trigger Point on St. Simons Island

This session is slower, focused work on fascia and trigger points—the tight bands and spots that stay after desks, lifts, or old injuries. It is closer to deep tissue than to Swedish. Pressure is specific, not a full-body flowing massage. Tell your therapist the area that has been holding.

Who this is for

  • One area has felt stuck for a long time

  • Swedish does not reach what is tight

  • You can tell your therapist where it bothers you

What to expect

Book the myofascial / trigger point service. Note the area in Booker. The work stays on those spots longer than a general massage. Pressure can be adjusted. Soreness the next day can happen; it should ease, not spike. Drink water afterward.

FAQ

Is this the same as deep tissue?

Related. Deep tissue is broader pressure. This appointment stays on fascia and trigger points.

Is this the same as sports massage?

No. Sports is organized around an activity. This is organized around the tight tissue itself.

What if I only want one shoulder?

Say that when you book so the time is used there.
